Terms and Conditions

In these terms and conditions, Wood Reformer, with a warehouse located at Nijvelsebaan 115/2, 3090 Overijse, Belgium, is referred to as Wood Reformer. Wood Reformer is a trade name of Louis Van Eyck (BE0741541541) with its registered office located at Gemslaan 10, 3090 Overijse. These delivery and payment conditions apply to all offers and agreements of Wood Reformer.

Formation of the Agreement

The purchase agreement is formed by the electronic acceptance of Wood Reformer's offer on the website. Acceptance takes place upon receipt of your order via the online order form and/or by a payment confirmation. Wood Reformer reserves the right not to accept orders or assignments without stating reasons.

Offers on the Website

All offers listed on Wood Reformer's website are valid as long as they are on the site and while supplies last. Wood Reformer reserves the right to make price changes to the offers. All offers are subject to ICT, typing, or printing errors.

Prices

All prices of Wood Reformer include 21% VAT, including shipping costs and including installation, unless expressly stated otherwise. The prices used for the products are those listed on the Wood Reformer website, subject to typing or printing errors.

Images

All images, drawings, data concerning weights, dimensions, colors, etc. included on the website are only approximate and cannot give rise to compensation and/or dissolution of the agreement.

Payment

The main rule is that delivery takes place after full payment has been received, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Payment can be made via the payment methods offered on the website, such as Bancontact, credit card, or by bank transfer in advance to Wood Reformer's account.

Shipping and Risk

Wood Reformer bears the shipping costs, and installation is performed by Wood Reformer.

The products travel at Wood Reformer's risk. The risk of the products passes to the buyer from the moment the products are offered for receipt at the specified address. The buyer is obliged to accept the products upon delivery. In the absence of the buyer, the products will be stored by the carrier according to their policy.

If the buyer refuses to accept the products or has not collected them from the specified storage location within the period set by the carrier, Wood Reformer has the right to send an invoice for the costs incurred by Wood Reformer. These include transport costs, administrative costs, as well as depreciation. These costs amount to 10% of the principal sum with a minimum of €20.

Delivery

After receipt of payment, delivery will follow within 14 calendar days. Should the delivery period exceed 14 days, the buyer will be notified of the reason for the delay.

The stated delivery times should be regarded as a best-effort obligation and are deemed to be approximate. Exceeding a delivery time never entitles the buyer to any compensation. If the ordered goods cannot be delivered within 30 days (after the originally agreed delivery date), the customer has the right to cancel the order, without the right to compensation.

Warranty and Conformity

Wood Reformer applies the statutory provisions regarding the warranty of the delivered products, with the understanding that the warranty does not extend beyond the warranty given by the manufacturer of the delivered product. Wood Reformer provides a 2-year warranty on the Wood Reformer for non-vulnerable parts.

Wood Reformer does not provide a warranty on consumable products (such as springs, ropes, upholstery, and other parts subject to normal wear and tear) unless a warranty has been explicitly granted in writing.

The buyer cannot invoke the warranty provisions if:

  • The buyer has neglected the products or there is normal wear and tear.

  • The buyer has made changes to the products.

  • There is improper or careless use, incorrect connection, lightning strike, damage due to moisture, or other external calamities.

  • The device has not been used in the usual manner or not in accordance with the manual.

  • The device is used with incorrect accessories.

Retention of Title

The ownership of the products delivered by Wood Reformer is expressly reserved until the full purchase price, including all additional costs, has been paid.

Liability

Wood Reformer accepts no liability for damage to other equipment of the buyer or third parties that may have been caused by a defect in the delivered product.

Wood Reformer is in no way liable for damage to products or persons caused by incorrect handling, incompetence, incorrect assembly, incorrect use, or use outside the specifications.

Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period) and Return Policy

Cancellation before shipment: If a cancellation and refund request is submitted before the shipment of your Wood Reformer, a processing fee of up to 5% of the total purchase amount may be deducted to cover administrative and processing costs. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this possible deduction in the event of a refund request before shipment.

Withdrawal after delivery: If you are not satisfied with your Wood Reformer, you can request a return within 14 calendar days after delivery.

If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, Wood Reformer will refund the payment within 14 calendar days after notification of withdrawal (or after receipt of the product).

Return costs and conditions:

  • Returns are charged an additional return shipping cost of €250 for Benelux and €350 or more for EU locations for the Wood Reformer.

  • Your Wood Reformer, along with all associated accessories, must be returned in the original box to retain the refund.

  • The returned Wood Reformer will be inspected upon arrival at the company's warehouse.

  • The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from the handling of the products other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products.

Damage and missing parts upon return: If your Wood Reformer is returned in damaged condition, with missing parts, or otherwise shows signs of misuse, Wood Reformer reserves the right to refuse a refund or to charge additional restocking fees, at the sole discretion of Wood Reformer.

Court and Applicable Law

For legal proceedings, Belgian law applies. In the event of insoluble disputes between the buyer and Wood Reformer, the decision of the court will be binding.

For consumers (individuals), the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile is competent. For professionals (B2B), Brussels has been expressly agreed upon as the competent court.

Complaints and Disputes

A consumer can submit a complaint by e-mail to info@woodreformer.com. Wood Reformer will endeavor to respond within 14 days of receiving the complaint.

If the complaint cannot be resolved, the consumer can use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform of the European Commission, accessible via: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

Wood Reformer respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially.
